With the exception of some boats used on the inland waterways, there is no legal requirement to register boats based or used for recreational purposes in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and associated territorial waters.
However, if your plan to use your vessel overseas, it is required to register. There is a number of different registers available to boat owners in Ireland and our team would gladly assist you to register your yacht in order to comply with international and European laws and regulations when leaving Irish waters, as well for racing if necessary.
